As a journalist I’ve produced hundreds of television and radio pieces over the years. I’ve broken hard news and put together softer features with nice music and pretty pictures. I’ve written political commentaries, worked on environmental documentaries and done live television Q&As on crisis moments in history. I’ve interviewed thousands of people from heads of state, film and pop-stars to mountain hermits and heroin addicts. I’ve jumped out of cable cars, onto helicopters and into sewage drains that reached my waist. I’ve done my fair share of media whoring, loving every opportunity it gave to discover the world, meet fascinating people and tell their stories. But there came a point when the institution paying my salary was no longer aligned with my inner values and my growth as a change-maker. I continue to write as a journalist but on my terms. It’s more low-key and compatible with keeping a relationship and raising a family. It also means I don’t get woken up with editor phone calls at 6am.

“I’m glad there’s finally a book I can hand all the terrified women who come to me in their thirties. Right Time Baby is just the right medicine for women who want to have a baby but who have been led to believe that their fertile time is drawing to a close. Nothing could be further from the truth. Take heart, read this book and tap into your fertility birthright.”
